Of course! You or your clients are free to submit as many requests as you want. A content edit is anything that takes less than 30 minutes to complete and can usually be done from your WordPress website's admin panel.

It varies on a case-by-case basis. However, we generally reply within 8 hours and resolve your issues within 24-48 hours*. We don’t have an official turnaround time, but we do offer a general timeline estimating when your requests would be completed. To get a better idea, here’s how our turnaround time works, and a few factors that affect it:
  1. When you submit a ticket on your dashboard,  you will receive a response immediately if the ticket was submitted correctly within our system.
  2. Within 1 business day, you will receive a manual response email from our team that we have opened the ticket, have assessed the request complexity, and are actively working on it.
Factors that can affect these timelines are:
  1. Our team only performs one edit request at a time. This is to make sure conflicts are never created on your website from 2 changes being made at once! That means if you submit 5 edit requests at one time, we'll handle them one by one.
  2. If you send in a request that's of high-complexity in nature, it also may take our team longer to address it. If a ticket is of a complex nature and our team needs more time, we'll let you know if it is outside of the 48-hour window.
  3. Sometimes we need additional information or direct feedback from you to move a request forward. If you receive an email that requires additional information, please reply to it as soon as possible so our team can continue working on your request!

The first step to on-boarding will be to subscribe to a plan on WP Shifu’s website that best matches with your business requirements. The steps that follow are: a. Welcome Email Within a few minutes of signing up, we’ll automatically send an email to the address you used during the sign-up process. This will include details like:
  • How to securely send us your login details
  • How to contact our support team for website edits
  • How to login to your ticket dashboard
For White-label on-boarding, our team will work directly with you and your team to get your White-label account fully set up. That includes:
  • White-label inbox set up (with your logo in all email signatures)
  • White-label reports (with your logo included)
  • Full access to white-label support inbox backend dashboard (provides access to all client tickets
b. Full Backup Within 24 hours of signing up, our team will do a full backup of your core files and database. We do this before performing any updates or website edits. Just in case anything goes wrong, it’s important that we have full access to a complete backup of the website. c. On-boarding Initiation Our on-boarding checklist is usually completed within 24-48 hours. Plugin updates may not be completed during on-boarding since we perform safe updates as per the plan you have selected. Speed optimization can take up to 3-4 weeks to see optimal effects because the manual work to improve website performance is time-intensive! d. Start Sending in Website Edits After our team has completed its initial backups successfully, we can start making changes to your website! You can now start adding your requests or concerns to our dashboard. e. 24x7 Uptime Monitoring We’ll connect your website to our uptime monitoring system. This pings your website every 60 seconds to make sure it’s up and running. If it’s not for any reason, our 24/7 support team will be notified automatically and they will work to address any issues under our control as soon as possible. f. Premium Plugins Installed During your on-boarding window, you’ll start to see premium & non-premium but essential plugins like WPSecurity, Yoast SEO, WPRocket etc. added to your WordPress backend. g. Your First Ever Report You’ll receive your first website report either in the following week post your subscription or in the following month, depending on the plan you are on. You’ll have full transparency into updates, uptime, backups, traffic, performance, and our 24/7 WordPress security service. We will start sending reports after 10 days of subscription with our services. h. Ongoing Work Month on month, our team will be available for all the WordPress help you need. We’ll take care of updates, any website edits you request, ongoing speed and security optimization, backups, uptime monitoring, and anything else you need 24/7.
